FAQ

Questions we get asked first

How much does an engagement cost?

Projects are quoted at a fixed price against written deliverables, so you know the number before anything starts. Retainers are priced monthly based on headcount and device count. Assessments are a fixed fee and come with a report you keep regardless of whether you proceed. You'll get an indicative range on the first call.

We already have an IT provider. Can you still help?

Frequently, yes. A lot of work is project-based alongside an incumbent: an Azure build, a migration, a Copilot rollout, or a security assessment that sits outside their day-to-day remit. We're happy to work with your existing provider rather than replace them.

Is our business too small for AI work?

Usually not, but the honest answer depends on your data. If your files and permissions are a mess, Copilot will surface that mess to everyone on day one. That's why AI engagements start with a readiness assessment: it's cheaper to fix the foundations first than to roll back a bad launch.

Do you provide help desk support?

Not day-to-day, end-user help desk, no. What we do provide is endpoint management: Intune enrollment, patching, compliance policies and access lifecycle automation, so devices stay current and secure without a ticket queue. If you need someone answering "my printer won't connect" calls, we're not that. If you need the platform behind your devices built and kept in order, that's exactly what we do.

Who owns the work you produce?

You do. Tenants, subscriptions and admin credentials stay in your name throughout. Infrastructure code, documentation and runbooks are handed over as part of every engagement. If you ever move on, nothing has to be rebuilt from scratch.

What are your support hours?

Standard support runs during business hours, with out-of-hours cover arranged for scheduled work such as migrations and cutovers. Retainer clients get an agreed response target written into the agreement. We don't pretend to be a 24/7 staffed desk. If that's what you need, we'll say so up front.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Most work is delivered remotely, which keeps costs down and response times short. On-site visits are arranged where they genuinely help: hardware, office moves, onboarding sessions or the initial discovery for a larger project.
